Now, the Gionee Elife S5.5 is the world’s thinnest smartphone as the Elife S5.5 has taken over the crown from the Vivo X Play 3 which also is just 5.75mm thin. We often see a lot of Companies to compromise the battery life in order to make thin smartphones as such most of the thin smartphones do not have enough room for big batteries and as a result the device comes with smaller battery, But the Elife S5.5 is a little different on that front as it comes with a 2,300mAH battery under its hood.

The Gionee Elife S5.5 has a 5 inch 720p display and is powered by a 1.7GHz Quad Core processor and 2GB RAM. The device is equipped with a13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera(thinking about selfies. Eh?).

The Elife S5.5 will cost around $370 and Gionee plans to launch the world’s new thinnest smartphone in around 40 different countries around the world.

  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB Internal Storage
  • 13MP Rear Camera with LED Flash
