The Moto E packs some very decent amount of specs for such a low price. It Comes with a 4.3 inch qHD Gorilla Glass 3 display (960 x 540 resolution and 256 ppi density), 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, Adreno 302 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, microSD support upto32GB, 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, Dual SIM, 1980mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

It is somewhat similar in looks to Moto G, but of course Motorola had to cut corners some where in order to cut price by as much as $50 in the Moto E smartphone so they went on chunk it a bit, Scrapped the LED Flash and that Front camera too [Poor Selfie Lovers!], Pulled out the Snapdragon 400 and chipped in with the 200 model. Viewing angles are slight below decent and brightness levels are just satisfactory.

Motorola has also announced that that the Moto E will receive at least one software update to the Android 4.4KitKat in the future.

  1. Motorola set a new benchmark for the budget smartphone with the Moto G but has gone even lower on price with the Moto E. Although we’re impressed with the Moto E which will make a great first or spare smartphone, it’s worth paying the extra for the Moto G. And if you have decided to become a proud owner of this device, perhaps you’re in the market for a solid and beautiful protection case as well.
